The President of Burundi, H.E. Pierre Nkurunziza, in a very successful trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan USA, ignites people from all walks of life – city government – business leaders – church workers – everyday citizen, as they came together around the message of Jesus Christ.
Honorary Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi, Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “It is a wonderful day when you see an entire community coming together in one accord for the cause of Jesus Christ. The fellowship and the unity after the President spoke were far reaching. People were fellowshipping in a Spirit of Love – that’s the kingdom of God on the earth. The important things of this world are not the temporal but rather the spiritual because this is what God looks at.”
Dr. Rivers went on to say, “There is no word in the bible for ‘coincidence,’ so that means the President of Burundi’s trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan was divine. This is the spark we are talking about. Unity in the community is what took place in this city and it will reach the world.”
