Just a few days ago in Charlotte, Michigan, Honorary Ambassador at Large for Republic of Burundi, Dr. Clyde Rivers, met with Mayor Dee Smith regarding future plans for the next Generosity Summit scheduled for 2012.
Dr. Rivers had this to say about his meeting. “I was overjoyed to hear, Mayor Dee Smith of Charlotte, Michigan, comment that, ‘the most meaningful event I have done as a mayor was last years Generosity Summit.’ This is good to hear because the country of Burundi was a major focal point of that event. We thank you, Mayor Smith for working with the Republic of Burundi and making the Generosity Summit a success and we look forward to your work in Burundi and being a part of the next Generosity Summit.”
