On August 30, 2013 at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum Dr. Cedric Blackeagle, former President and Chairman of the Crow Nation, became a Good Will Ambassador of Peace for Golden Rule International. Ambassador Clyde Rivers the head of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International presented Dr. Cedric Blackeagle this prestigious international award.

The Golden Rule International Award is now established in 120 nations of the world. This organization seeks out top achievers that live the Golden Rule in their everyday life. This is a new global ethic that the leadership of the Golden Rule International Award, Patron, current President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde and Ambassador Mussie Hailu has embraced and is promoting globally. Golden Rule International is also affiliated with the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI), African Union, the United Nations as well as the United Religions Initiative (URI).

Ambassador Clyde Rivers said, “Dr. Cedric Blackeagle is a true humanitarian and a statesman for the cause of the Native American people in the United States of America. He is responsible for keeping the water rights of the Crow Nation for the Crow people. This is a heroic act because water is life and keeping the water rights for his people will help his nation live on. I am very honored that Dr. Blackeagle has agreed to help us bring a culture of peace to the Native American Nations through the Golden Rule International Award by becoming a Good Will Ambassador of Peace.”

The President of the Taino Nation, Roberto Mukaro Borrero received the Golden Rule International Award on August 30, 2013 at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

President Borrero received this prestigious international award for standing up for the Taino Nation when the world systems said the Taino people did not exist anymore. He fought to keep his nation recognized as a legitimate people group. The United States Census now recognizes the Taino people.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers the head of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International, said, “It was an act of valor for President Borrero to put his people back on the map of the world. This is truly the Golden Rule in motion. It is a great honor to have President Roberto Mukaro Borrero as a Good Will Ambassador for the Golden Rule worldwide.”

FIRST LADY OF BURUNDI, DENISE NKURUNZIZA, RECEIVES CONGRESSIONAL RECOGNITION FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO HER COMMUNITY

It was a monumental day when the First Lady of the Republic of Burundi received recognition at the United Nations in New York for her Buntu Foundation and service to her country. She received this award for winning the Women’s Progress Award for achieving the millennium development goals for women’s issues in the Republic of Burundi. This Special Congressional Achievement Certificate from the United States of America is a great honor for the First Lady, Denise Nkurunziza of the Republic of Burundi. Ambassador Clyde Rivers said, “We are very grateful to the United States for this Special Congressional Achievement Certificate honoring the First Lady of Burundi.”

A proclamation was given to the First Lady of Burundi, Denise Nkurunziza, for her philanthropic organization called the Buntu Foundation and for the honor and recognition that she received at the United Nations for the 2013 Women’s Progress Award for exceeding the millennium development goals for women’s issues. The New York State Senator and Democratic Conference Leader, Andrea Stewart-Cousins gave this prestigious award for her valiant efforts in the Republic of Burundi, with the residents of the 35th District of New York City, and proclaimed this day, Thursday, June 13, 2013, as Madame Denise Nkurunziza Day.

Voice of African Mothers is an organization that has put together an award for the First Ladies of Africa. Voices of African Mothers award recipients are women that have worked hard to reach the millennium development goals for women’s issues within their respective countries. The First Lady of the Republic of Burundi, Denise Nkurunziza, received this award at the United Nations and was an overwhelming winner of this award because she exceeded the goals set for millennium development for her country.

Her Buntu Foundation has been a major voice for women in Burundi. Her organization is teaching motherhood, child-rearing and life skills with economic empowerment to the women of her country. Ambassador Clyde Rivers says, “Burundi will always lead the way because of their strong stance for the kingdom of God. It is great to see a country achieve goals to help their people. A big congratulations to the First Lady Denise Nkurunziza, for achieving the Women’s Progress Award 2013 for her millennium development goals.”

Ruth Mizell was the campaign manager for George Herbert Bush Sr. as he ran against Ronald Reagan and then became the Vice President for the Reagan Administration. Ruth Mizell is truly a Christian states person. She has worked on Capitol Hill for over thirty years. Praying and furthering the causes of Jesus Christ on the Hill.

Prof. Clyde Rivers "said she is one of the greatest women of God in the World. You can always tell a great person in Christ Prof. Rivers said, they are humble and kind. Ruth Mizell has been a true hero for Christ on Capitol Hill. Prof. Clyde Rivers said it is an honor For Latin University of Theology to have the privilege of Honoring Ruth Mizell.

The international delegation of Latin University of Theology was on Capitol Hill Feb 26, 2013 to bring this Honorary Doctorate of Divinity for her service to Jesus Christ for over 30 yrs. Ruth Mizell is 90 yrs. old and still serving God.

The Professor of Latin University of Theology wins Golden Rule Award. Prof. Clyde Rivers established the Ministry of Honor on the continent of Africa in 2006. "When I came to Africa for the first time I was amazed that the excellent leaders on the continent have not been honored for the great work that they have done in their nation. At that time I realized that the missing ingredient on the continent of Africa was honor".

That first trip to Africa was the beginning of the building of a culture of honor on the continent of Africa. Where honor was not given or recognized for excellent achievements.  I have been given the privilege of bringing honor to eleven Presidents and First Ladies on the continent of Africa. When Amb. Mussie Hailu the Founder of The Golden Rule Award contacted me regarding this top Award. I was over joyed to be considered in the company of former President of Finland Tarja Halonen and other top leaders of the world. "This Golden Rule Award is the Key to world peace said Prof. Rivers. If everyone would just treat others the way they want to be treated. We could have a world of peace.
Amb. Mussie Hailu also appointed Prof. Clyde Rivers to the Position of Representative for the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative to the United Nations in New York. 

Prof. Clyde Rivers received this award in December of 2012.

The President of the Republic of Burundi leads his country in a new way. It is truly amazing to see the development and unity in Burundi in such a short period of time. People can say what they want about this nation, but the thing they
have to agree upon is the transformation that has taken place in the country. When you look and see the people of the country building their own nation every Saturday morning and you can see the effect with your own eyes. It is truly a
nation being transformed by the people within.

In order to have transformation in any nation you must have buy in from the people of the nation. Prof. Clyde Rivers; said "The most important element to change a nation is human resources unified”. In the Republic of Burundi that is what I see. One of the most amazing transformations I have ever seen in my life." Looking at this country with fresh eyes one would have to say only God could bring this kind of transformation.

Every year in the Republic of Burundi the President does two crusades where he and the people of Burundi thank the Lord Jesus for blessing and protecting the people of the country. It is great to see a President teaching his people how to be grateful for the good things in their country.

As I travel the world says "Prof. Rivers the one thing I see different about Burundi is the leadership is teaching the people how to thank the creator for all he has blessed them with. A thankful heart is the key to transformation.

Prof. Clyde Rivers Appointed Goodwill Ambassador of the Golden Rule

Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative has appointed Professor Clyde Rive, Ph.D.
as the Goodwill Ambassador of the Golden Rule.

H.E. Ambassador Mussie Hailu, Board Chairman of Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and Regional
Director of United Religions Initiative for Africa and Representative of URI to the United
Nations Economic Commission for Africa said: “Professor Clyde Rivers is appointed as Goodwill
Ambassador of the Golden Rule in recognition of his tireless effort in promoting people to understanding, friendship and partnership for common good and building trust and a peaceful co-existence among followers of different religions and culture”.

Ambassador Hailu added that; "Dr. Clyde Rivers has traveled extensively around the world to preach and teach leaders the power of God, education, and the need of ethics and moral education in the school systems of the world. He currently serves as the International Commissioner for Latin University of Theology as an International Commissioner and minister. Dr. Rivers has had the privilege of conferring
four African Presidents, two First Ladies, and one Vice President with Honorary Doctorate
Degrees, for their strong faith in God, moral values, and exemplary humanitarian work.
He currently works with several African Presidents, including those of Uganda, Burundi, Ivory
Coast, and Kenya, to bring aid programs that will help to empower their nations. Some of his
former projects have included building hospital wings, bringing medical supplies, and providing
roofs for schools. Furthermore, Dr. Rivers serves as the Vice President of the nonprofit
organization named Community Mentorship Connection, bringing mentorship to troubled youth and support to families.
After receiving the certificate of appointment, the Golden Rule Medal and poster Prof. Rivers
said; "It is a great honor for me to be appointed as Goodwill Ambassador of the Golden Rule. I would like to thank Ambassador Mussie Hailu and Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative for the honor they have
bestowed upon me. The Golden Rule is indeed the one great law that binds all humanity, and
religions, cultures, and races. It is high time to promote the teaching of the Golden Rule in the
school systems to build trust, human rights, respect and inter-religious harmony and peace. I will
work day and night along with IPI and all other stakeholders to promote the teaching of the Golden
Rule. I am also very happy to learn about the establishment of The Golden Rule International and
looking forward to working in close partnership".


Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative is a peace building organization based in Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia and it is affiliated with United Nations through the Department of Public Information of
the United Nations. It is also a member organization of United Religions Initiative.
The purpose of IPI is to promote interfaith cooperation, inter-religious and inter-cultural
Harmony, and to build a culture of peace and trust through the teaching of the Golden Rule which
says: "Treat others the way you want to be treated".
IPI strongly supports the aim of the United Nations, African Union, United Nations Economic
Commission for Africa, United Nations Environmental Program and Regional Economic
Communities. IPI is committed to implement the resolutions passed through the United Nations
General Assembly on issues like World Interfaith Harmony Week, International Day of Peace,
Alliance of Civilizations and all other resolutions which help to enhance a culture of peace,
inter-religious and inter-cultural harmony.

0n January 21, 2013 the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast will be held at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. The Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington D.C.; Will be in attendance with a special invitation given to
Amb. Clyde Rivers, the Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi. He is also the Co-chairman of the Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington D.C. with the Chairman Wiley S. Drake.

This breakfast will consist of Congressmen, Senators, Ambassadors, and Diplomats to pray for our nation.  President Obama has been invited to this event. The Keynote address will be given by Michele Bachmann the representative in congress from Minnesota. It’s time to pray America Forward. Let’s be the change we want the
world to see.
