Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, Founder and President of iChange Nations™ has approved a new award in honor of a top World Peace Activist and Philanthropist, Ambassador Mussie Hailu. This award is the iChange Nations™ Ambassador Mussie Hailu Global Peace Award. Ambassador Hailu is known worldwide to be a man of high values, deep care for humanity and works around the world with the message of the Golden Rule.

The "Ambassador Mussie Hailu Global Peace Award," is an iChange Nations™ award intended to acknowledge, recognize and appreciate the efforts of individuals or organizations throughout the world who are committed to promoting a culture of peace, compassion, human dignity, the teaching of the Golden Rule, "Treat others the way you want to be treated", with mutual respect and co-existence among followers of different religions and cultures.

Ambassador Mussie Hailu is working at regional, national and international levels. His efforts involve promoting peace, reconciliation, interfaith harmony and world citizenship. In addition, he labors to protect human rights, enhancing respect and human dignity and compassion for all forms of life around the world. He also actively works against the proliferation of small arms and light weapons promoting disarmament. His efforts are also directed at constructive dialogue, building bridges for international cooperation and promoting the teaching of the Golden Rule as a guiding principle.

Former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox and World Peace Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers were invited to meet and dialogue by the United Peoria Foundations State of the World Conference. This event was organized and hosted by Arizona State Representative and Founder of United Peoria Foundations, Tony Rivero and took place in Phoenix Arizona in October 2015. These men were invited to be a part of meetings to empower the young people of the world and to bring hope about a bright future for the nations of the world as we learn to work together.

Ambassador Rivers said, “The Former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox is a man for all nations and understands the importance of involving the young people of the world in the process of building a great future for the world. It was powerful to be involved in the dialogue.”

In addition to these empowerment sessions, World Peace Ambassador Clyde Rivers was honored to present Jeff Flake, Senator of Arizona, with the Golden Rule International Award for his life of living the Golden Rule, ‘Treating others the way you want to be treated.’ Ambassador Rivers said, “It was such an honor to be able to recognize this great leader for his accomplishments. He is beyond a doubt a World Peace Ambassador.”

Ambassador Rivers is also a World Peace Ambassador and the Representative for the Golden Rule International and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, North American Division to the United Nations – New York. Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative is affiliated with the Department of Public Record (DPI) – United Nations as well as affiliated with the United Religious Initiative (URI), an Interfaith Peace organization. On February 15, 2015 the Golden Rule reformation hit the Bahamas. The recipients of this well-earned award were some of the top leaders in the different segments of the Bohemian system. These leaders have exemplified the Golden Rule in their market place. They have made their community a better place.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers challenged these leaders to make their nation a Golden Rule Nation. Rivers said, “I have never seen so much enthusiasm from the leaders of a nation to make this Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated’, work within their nation. Every life in every nation is priceless. I am truly humbled and happy to welcome these fellow Ambassadors of the Golden Rule to our global community.”

Ambassador Rivers went on to thank Dr. Kevin Storr for his excellent job as Master of Ceremonies for this event in the Bahamas.

The major power of community in the Republic of Burundi Africa has united the Hutus and Tutsi tribes as a result of working side-by-side for years rebuilding their nation. 

Ambassador Clyde Rivers commented, “As Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi, I can tell you first hand that there is a unity in our nation due to the efforts of the people of this nation. The power of the transformation in Burundi has not taken place because of politics. It has taken place because of love. Politics can never heal a broken heart. It’s the love of God. You can never change a nation until you heal the broken heart of the people. In the Republic of Burundi Africa, the hearts of the people are now being healed. The President of the Taino Nation, Roberto Mukaro Borrero received the Golden Rule International Award on August 30, 2013 at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

President Borrero received this prestigious international award for standing up for the Taino Nation when the world systems said the Taino people did not exist anymore. He fought to keep his nation recognized as a legitimate people group. The United States Census now recognizes the Taino people.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers the head of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International, said, “It was an act of valor for President Borrero to put his people back on the map of the world.
