There are some things that cannot be learned from a book. The experience of using life-skills and integral leadership skills to further the advancement of others around the world is found as a valuable asset in aiding mankind in finding a better way of life. When this caliber of individual is discovered, IChange Nations™ feels it is important to recognize their hard work and award them with a non-academic ICN National Statesman Degree.

On April 23^rd, 2016 we were able to, for the first time, award twenty worthy recipients the National Statesman Degree. These hardworking, leading world-changers came to Capitol Hill, Washington DC and received this prestigious award in front of the world. The fifty nations represented championed these worthy individuals.

FIFTY NATIONS GATHER TO RECEIVE HONOR

On April 23^rd, 2016 we witnessed an overwhelming representation of well deserving individuals from fifty nations of the world. These hardworking, leading world-changers came in response to the opportunity to be honored by IChange Nations™ the World’s Largest Honoring Network Establishing Cultures of Honor around the world and by Golden Rule International. This is ICN/GR’s largest gathering to date as they work to unify divers cultures through the Culture of Honor.

In search of people deserving of honor at global, national, state and community levels, ICN Alumni and Golden Rule International Ambassadors out did themselves in this, by invitation only, event. Quality individuals, that have made positive contributions in helping mankind, came from all over the globe to Capitol Hill, Washington DC and received honor in the presence of their peers from around the world.

Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow was honored on Capitol Hill in Washington DC on November 2015. World Peace Ambassador Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow was given the Girma Wolde Giorgis Environmental Protection Award. She is recognized as a Humanitarian Conservationist Solutionist for her contribution to mankind to empower and recognize greatness in others. Among her accomplishments are the Awards, Golden Rule International World Peace Ambassador and IChange Nations™ Women Add Value.  At the event on Capital Hill she launched her Love Truth Peace Campaign. At the heart of all she ventures into, Love Truth and Peace motivate her to empower individuals as well as instill the importance of leadership and environmental economic development. She also works to empower youth and encourage a spirit of entrepreneurism, creating Young Ambassadors in her wake. She is Founder and CEO of Panama World Trade and Investment Foundation. In Washington DC on November 13, 2015, Fox News Correspondent, Kelly Wright was given the Girma Wolde Giorgis Environmental Protection Award. He is being recognized as a Humanitarian Conservationist Solutionist for his integrity and character in media. Kelly Wright has contributed value to the world through his award winning ‘Beyond the Dream’ video productions that shows good people giving back and living the Golden Rule. He is one of the first recipients of this prestigious award that was co-authored by Dr. Clyde Rivers, IChange Nations™ Founder and President and the Former President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde Giorgis.

DR. PAUL DHINAKARAN OF INDIA RECEIVES THE DR. RUTH MIZELL AWARD FOR CHRISTIAN STATESMANSHIP

In Washington DC, September 5, 2014 at the United States Capitol Building, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran of India was presented with the prestigious Dr. Ruth Mizell Christian Statesmanship Award. Dr. Dhinakaran has a Global Television Ministry called Jesus Calls that produces at least 1,800 programs a month. He was appointed by the Education Department of the India National Monitoring Committee for Minority Education and is a member of the Governing Council of the “Education for All” Committee. He works with the Karunya University - India with over 5,400 students engaged from all parts of India. He rightly represents both God and the country of India.

The Dr. Ruth Mizell Global Award for Christian Statesmanship was created in Dr. Ruth Mizell’s name because of her stand for religious freedom on Capital Hill for over 30 years while helping mankind to love one another. Dr. Mizell was the former campaign manager for President George H. Bush.
